Can i use high impedance OBD1 or OBD2 injectors on a car running a non OBD ECU if i rewire the resistor box out?? Just wondering cuz i wanna run a GSR head on my friends B16, and if i can i'll only swap out the distributor.. Thanks in advance.

 

i had a look into this a while ago and the answer is yes, but the set-up will not be optimal.

ie it would be better to use injectors on the ecu designed for htem...

but others might have practical experience with htis...

Cool, so would you recommend goin with say RC's or some other brand that carries higher flow low impedance injectors?

 

i try not to make recommendations on this board, only relay information/experiences/stories,

that said, i would suggest that matching the injector type to the ECU is very important.

if you are low on funds, there are other options, but these are usually compromises.
