Default Injector Type

I have a 99 civic that has a set of 550cc RC injectors. They say PL8-550 on the acutal injector. I am just trying to figure out if they are saturation or peak and hold injectors so that I can get my AEM EMS setup properly. I appreciate the information.

I thought that all RC injectors are saturated. Test the resistance, saturated should be in the 12-16 ohm range. Peak and hold have a lower resistance near 2.5 ohms.

Those are low impedance. It goes by the first letter of the part number.

PL8-550 = P[eakAndHold]L8-550

SL9-550 = S[aturated]L9-550
