ok I'll try to make this brief...I built a LS vtec ( b18a block, GSR head)and I used my sohc non vtec injectors (d16y7 i think 190cc injectors) just so I can start it up (didn't have $ for new injectors) and they worked fine...other then not being the correct injectors....anyway.....i finally got some obd2 GSR injectors and when I swapped them in voila engine sounded so much better (at idle).....here's the problem...when I gave it gas it felt like it wanted to die on me...it wouldn't accelerate. it would sputter like a ****...what can it be? I was told the injectors were in perfect working condition when i bought them (use of course) ohm test showed 12.1-12.2..I searched and showed no other cases.

if you have a a/f meter see what its running at. 14.7 to 1 is best for everyday driving. if its running leaner than that its a fuel problem. the only other easy problem i can really see is a bad o2 sensor in which case you arent getting enough fuel.
So when you had the old injectors before, the car would not run like crap. But with the new injectors they run like crap.
How long did the injectors sit before they were sold to you. If injectors sit for long periods of time they will gunk up on the inside. Take them to a shop and have them tested and or recleaned.
The awnser is pretty obvious here.

i was able to tell that the other injectors (d16y7) were being pushed to their limit but it was running....the guy i bought them from said they were tested and were in perfect working condition but I did not ask whether they sat around or not...I did get a 9v battery and tested them, they all clicked which I assume mean they are not stuck. I guess the best thing would be to take em in. Thanks!
take a test light and the injector and place the end of the injector in a plastic bottle (while its still hooked up to the harness) and take the test light probe and hook up the lead to a 12v source such as ur battery. Probe the injector, if they are working right you will see it spray into the bottle. Try that out and see if it works thats how i tested my injectors. Good luck.
