Default injector resistor for sohc vtec engine question

i'm planning on doing a mini-me swap (d15b7 bottom d16z6 head) into my 88 dx hatch. the engine has obd-1 injectors i heard that they don't work with an injector resistor. do i still convert the dpfi to mpfi the same way i would for a zc swap or do i have to do something else? if i do have to do it another way what is it?

If you don't want an OBD-1 system, do the MPFI conversion the same way you would for a ZC (excluding the extra distributor wiring change). Only use OBD-1 injectors w/out the resistor.
