info about act flywheel
Hi, im about to purchase a flywheel from a frend. I asked him what is it prolight or streetlight, and he says its in the middle. Looking at the act site they offer only the two. Are there anymore flywheels that act makes? Also for a N/A b20vtec setup which is better the prolight and streetlight, I think the heavier the better for this one right I only have stock block stock head. Let me in on some info please.
I don't know how close this friend is but if I asked someone I was buying an ACT flywheel from, "Is it prolite or streetlite," and he says, "It's in the middle," I'd expect it to be a generic, non-ACT POS. Make sure to check the part # imprinted on the flywheel. Of the two, streetlite is better for most apps imo. Keep in mind that light flywheels can have more problems with heavy wheels than stock flywheels. Conversely, the lighter your wheels and your car are, the lighter the flywheel you can use without having issues.

I don't know where on the flywheel ACT puts theirs. I'm sure they could tell you real quick if you called them but it might be just as easy to inspect the flywheel. Regardless of what brand it is, it should have a part # somewhere unless it's a cheap knockoff.
