Default individual throttle bodies

how could that be good for any engine? i mean its like running your car without and air filter. isnt it?

Yea I was wondering... for someone set on making as much power as possible, and of course anticipating the increased throttle sensitivity - I still don't know if it's a good idea for a daily driver.

Let's assume that you don't have time to pull the engine apart frequently - might get dirty in there eh?

I've read MANY threads on this; I still can't decide upon this aspect.

The one thing that deterred me, though, was not the lack of protection (yea some people put filters on but this impedes flow I'd think) - It was the damned noise! I don't think I want something that loud. I've never heard an ITB setup, but for a sleeper type car - Would these be just a bit too audible?

I didnt hear what is the sund of this "invidual throtle bodies" - is it loud ?

The second image is similar to what nissan did with their ITBs on the GTI-R motor from the factory.

some people put screens over theirs, similar to turbo set ups also
