Default Increasing compression ratio

I would like to know how I can increase my compression ratio on my H22A1 engine from 9.0:1 to 10.0:1. My engine was build with forged pistons and rods for turbo use, but I would like to run NA again, but I don't want to rebuild the engine.

Rebuild the engine to 10.0:1 and keep the turbo.... lots of power to be found.

Oh yeah, get rid of your EFI PMS, that is why your turbo setup is no fun. The EFI PMS sucks (I used to think it was good...no). Get a hondata.

What about a thinner head gasket? Do they have any that would increase compression by one point?

It would be virtually impossible to increase cr by a full point without doing new pistons. Rebuild or keep the turbo.

id stay with the stock head gasket and either rebuild the motor or get a new one... actually... just rip out your pistons and put new ones in... if the cylinders are still looking healthy... u could just swap them out

you could pull the head off reshape the cumbustion chamber and mill the **** out of the head. It will be hard to pull a whole point of compression, it could be done.

It is a piggyback fuel computer. It intercepts the pulsewidth sent to the injectors and the ignition timing signal to let you tune things. The main issue is that it is piggy back and is constantly fighting against the stock ECU.
