I'm trying to help a friend locate some makers for an upgraded torque converter. I've checked out levelten's website and they seem to only offer rebuilt/modified torque converters. I've also read about some potential reliability issues with levelten's stuff.

Has anyone selected a maker other than levelten? maybe art car, hughes, or b&m? i know they all make domestic torque converters, but before I go and contact them for import applications I was wanting to get some feedback on what are the good brands.
