Default I'm Stumped!!

I have a crx with a B18A1 (only the bottom end is built with 10:1 Comp) running all bolt-ons including full MSD with SCI+ box, all lightweight pulleys, crank pulley, flywheel. My problem is under normal driving the car seems to be fine, but when I get on it ANY, it acts like someone just wrapped their hands around its neck and is choking the @#$& out of it. I just doesn't want to go. I have triple checked timing (although the timing adj. conn. doesn't seem to do anything), triple checked my valve lash, my fuel is at 44psi with vac. on. Any other ideas?

Are you sure it's not a problem with the MSD? You'd be surprised at how good the stock Honda ignition really is.

Will stock ignition work well for any forced induction. That is my next step for performance.

Yes. The Honda ignition system is awesome, respek it. Always use Honda plugs, wires, cap, rotor, etc, otherwise horrible misfires will ensue.

Any luck with that problem yet? I had an msd kit and i was having the same problem. I found that it was messing up my sparkplugs then I would replace them the car would run fine for awhile. Then the plugs would fry again. I got rid of it and the problem went away.

Hey it does not take long to remove the msd kit all you have to do is unplug it and run just stock.

/\ This car runs a stock LS distributor. It's a B20 with a PR3 head and VTEC Killer Cams. It's seen 9700 rpm on the Dyno, and put down 232 WHP on a large Dyno Jet (very conservative number). The stock ignition is good past 10,000 rpm, and I've personally seen it used for a 620whp FI Civic.
