Ignitor or not
Im currently having problems with my MSD system in my hatch. It bogs hard at about 7500k with the 6al hooked up but it starts to bog at around 8800k with just the blaster coil. Ive tried just about everything the plugs, wires, rotor, cap, ignitor. Oh yeah all this started when the ignitor went out, since ive replaced it the cars not the same. Could I still have a bad ignitor, should I get one from the dealer instead of the auto parts store cause its totally diffrent from the one that was in there........ I know someone knows something, help please!!
Well the MSD box is no better than parts store junk. The stock ignition system is good for 600+ wheel HP, no need to mess with it unless you need to.
Most ignition problems I find on customer cars stem from MSD ignition products.
