Ignition timing and timing belt
So i changed my headgasket, I put it back together and now my (timing belt) timing is off. I thought I had the cam gear arrows pointed up and the crank gear pointed towards the arrow but apparently its not correct... Car lopes and dies but it barely idles when i turn the Dizzy all the way to one side (cant remember which way). I had my head milled but i dunno how much they took off.
Could this guide me as to which way the timing is off?
How much ignition timing (degrees) can you actually adjust through the dizzy by rotating it all the way from side to side?

...turn your crank by hand counterclockwise and line up your TDC mark with the pin on the lower timing belt cover and see if everything still lines up..if not then you have to redo your whole timing belt
line up the tdc mark on your v=crank pulley. remove the valve cover and look at cam caps closest to the cam gears. they have holes in them and so do the cams and you should be able to stick a small srewdriver through each hole if belt is on right. if not then loosen the belt on intake side, slide belt off of cam gear that is off a tooth and put it back on properly. rotate engine counter clockwise one revolution and check marks again. if everything is right turn belt three teeth until tensioner is tight then tighten tensioner and put on valve cover and drive down the street
