My keys got stolen and my car is locked. The key I used for my ignition was different than the key for the doors tho. So the locksmith can make a key for me to get into the car but I can't start it with that key. I have, however, an ignition and key from my old 94 integra hatch. I was wondering if I am able to use that ignition in my 1992 eg hatch, or even just swap the lock cylinders. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

 

need the matching key with tumbler. and they are a )(@*&($%^ to get out of the column without the key.

 

sounds like a job for a dealership.

and make some spare keys next time

 

Well if the ignition is the actual one from the car the dealer can actually make u a key from ur vin.. But since they r different its prolly cuz they replaced the ignition so it might not work. Or mayb they changed the doors? If they did u should b able to use the vin
