Default igniter question

very simply put, how do i test to see if the igniter is good on an obd0 distributor? My b16 wont start in my crx, and i've checked the ecu, pins, grounds, etc and theyre all right, connected and snug. The coil is also heating and working.

Disconnect both wires from the coin and hook a test light between them. When you crank the engine the light should flash if the igniter is working. (This assumes everything before the igniter is good.)

As long as it's the stame ignitor look as the one before it (3 contacts on top, one on the side) Doesn't matter if its NEC or HITACHI or anything.
