Default idle/stalling

I just bought a 93 hatch w/ jdm b16 with a built head.

I didnt get it tuned yet, but runs fine

I pull in my spot last night and just tap the gas (1-2.5 rpms) and the needle falls down to almost 0, catchs and then returns to normal. It was really close to stalling

Any ideas???

I had the same problem a couple months ago. After replacing the dizzy and injectors the car still ran the same. So i put the old injectors and dizzy back on. When i was removing the fuel rail gas poured out of the vacuum line on the fpr. The diagphragm in the fpr looked like a pringle and wasn't doing it's job. Reassembled the fpr an my problem was gone.

If you have an adjustable fpr check that. I'd also check idle speed.

whats the cam gears set at? I had the same problem and it turned out to be too much valve overlap. Set the gears to 0 and see how she runs.
Could also be, idle air control valve, fast idle thermo valve, vacuum leak (although that would generally make the car idle high) or the fact that you have bigger than stock cams, honda's hate to idle with aftermarket cams.
