idle probs??
hey im new to the forums and i need some help
i have a 1991 integra 4dr and when i start it it revs to 3000 rpmand i put my hand over the throttle body and it doesnt stop it if anyone could shed some light on this it would be greatly appreciated

Look for vacuum leaks & fix them.
Check throttle cable & linkage to be sure throttle is able to close completely.
Clean IAC & FIT valves, & clean the throttle bore where the throttle plate closes.
If that doesn't work, search for 'base idle' adjustment & do that.
