Idle Problem
I have a 1998 Civic LX with about 71,000 Miles. It has Intake and exhaust. This has been happening for awhile and I dont know if its a normal thing. Tried to do search but they arent the same situations as me. Anyway, when I warm up the car the idle is fine like around 700-900 rpms. After I start driving and come to a complete stop my idle drops to 500 rpms, sometimes lower. I feel like the car is gonna stall. I turn on my AC just to try to bring the rpms back up. Today I messed with the Idle Air Control Valve and it idles about 600-1000. After I drive an come to a complete stop it idles at about 500 but doesnt feel like its gonna stall. Is this all normal? I heard it might be my alternator? Anyone else run into this kinda problem?? Anyideas? Any help would be great!!

idle adjustment needed.
Get engine to normal operating temp.
Unplug IACV.
Screw the flathead screw on the top of the trottle body (with car running) until 750 +/- 50 rpms is reached.
Shut car off. Clear ECU code.
Turn car on and leave it alone for ten minutes of run time so the ECU can "relearn" everything.
