idle problem
i have a 1997 honda civic Dx Automatic.
my problem is that the idle keeps jumping up and down, also the check engine light is on. i jumper the ecu and it is throwing a code 14 IAC Valve defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor. so i took out the iac and cleanned it up. i slap it back on the car and the check light turn off and the idle no longer jumps up and down. instead it idles really low like 530rpm. i changed the spark plug, cap, rotar, wires. but still didnt help. does anyone know what could be the problem?
