Default Idle is messing up

I own a 93 EG wit a jdm b16 and ur basic bolt ons and a lil more but no internal work..... its alway drove fine and given me no problems but about 2 weeks ago the idle keeps fluctuating when i stop at a light or any time im idling... it will idle fine till the car warms up...once the engine is warmed up and should be running great it will idle at 700 or 500 or 1,000 or 100 .... and itll change through all these idle positions within maybe a 3 block radius of stop and go traffic... and if im driving around 50 or higher or any speed actually and i put it in neutral and coast to a stop somtimes it will totally just turn off and i have to turn the car on again... cuzz the car seems to idle at 100 a lot now... wich in my perspective i thought the car should turn off at that low of a rpm.... anyone know what it could be?

idle air control valve on the back of the intake manifold....very common problem. Take it off and clean the screen, if that doesn't work get a new one, or a used one that works....they aren't cheap from honda.

well cleaning it doesn't always fix the problem. Try replacing it with a known working one....lots of other honda ones fit, there is one with wide bolt holes and there is one with closer bolt holes, and some have 2 wires and others have 3. I am currently using a 91 integra IACV on my 2nd gen b16.

make sure to check for any leaky or cracked hoses. also take the radiator cap off and let the car idle for a long time.

if it fluctuates its sometimes just air in the cooling system. you can bleed it with the screw or just idle with the cap off. if it's just going to high its probably something else. have you worked on the throttlebody recently?
