the IAC valve opening is on top, but the valve, obviously, is not there, it kinda looks like an accord TB except for the bottom part and no FITV. I don't think i help at all, but o well, bump
it was 58mm and got bored to 62mm and a Type R throttle body gasket fits it fine
so i got D16 and B16 ? Any other guesses would be appreciated .. wanted to get it properly identified.... soo i dont shaft the buyer
It's a 96+ LS or B16A T-body.
Not a SIR 1 or 90-93 Teggy.

i think you might be right ... im looking at pics .... they show 2 different throttle bodies for 96+ LS

The second picture looks like it could be it ... Anyone know why one has the valve underneath and the other doesnt ? is one for an Auto and one for manual ? Did a different one come with a different Trim level ? thanks

And my next question of course ...
I have a 1995 LS .... The throttle body is the style with the FITV underneath ... now can i put this OBDII style throttle body w/ no FITV on my 95... and just hook the FITV lines to it ? can i put my Map sensor on top as well ? would this cause any problems ? CEL's ?
I was thinking that it's an OBD2 LS... I don't really think that it's a 1st gen B16 because they don't have the bent coolant passage in the TB... The passage for them just goes straight through...

thats definitely an OBD1/OBD2 throttlebody.
I can see there's an o-ring gasket for a top mounted MAP sensor which is only found on US 92+ civic & 94+ integra tb's. My guess, it's an LS TB. Although, I'm not to familiar with which OBD1/2 TB's had the coolant crap mounted on the bottom side of the TB. I know that an LS tb looks idendtical to an Type-R tb, with only the bent coolant tubes as seen in your pic..
