so i can just hook this thing up to my DAC short ram and its all good or is it supposed to be used wit a different intake?

 

I just ordered one a few weeks ago. It is designed to be used with Comptech's air filter kit, either with the metal pipe or the stock tube. If the short ram is just the right size it may work. You would have to see if the Comptech filter kit ($70) fits.
