i have a Injen short ram intake and was wondering if the Compech icebox would fit on it or does it only work with the comptech intake kit? also do you have to have a comptech air filter or does a K&N work. i searched for answers but all it came up with was arguing about the icebox. no tech help

I am pretty sure it does work only with the comptech intake. As for the filter I am not sure but if you buy the comptech intake it would come with the comptech filter so I bet so. but dont take my word for this I am not absolutly positive,,

 

honeslty i think it would work but i was just asking to make sure. i was looking at the picture of the ice box for my car and the comptech intake pipe looks exactly like my short ram intake. (has 2 bends at the same spot). the only part i have no clue about is the filter

Seems as though you might be able to retrofit a K&N in the box, so I doubt the Injen would be able to fit in the icebox, at least w/o modification to the filter itself. HTH
