IAT Sensor Problem on JDM ITR
Already searched for this particular problem and couldn't find anything:
I recently had my car dyno tuned at Church Auto Test and found that my IAT sensor was not working showing any kind of reading. I went to buy a brand new one at a local Honda dealership, replaced the sensor and went back to the dyno tuner. This time, the IAT is reading a steady temperature, regardless of how hot or cold the car actually is. I do not remember the exact temperature, but it reads an amount that equates to a car that is fully warmed up to normal operating temperatures. The tuner tuned the car (via Hondata s200) to run optimally at this temperature and it runs good. I just have to make sure that the car is warmed up before I run it at WOT.
Has anyone else had this type of problem? If so, how did you fix it? Thanks in advance.
