Replace temperatue sensor?
im replacing a 95 Rs b18b1 temperature sensor. the problem with my car is that my temperature guage allways read cold. it dont move as if the car was off. from the mechanic at acura he told me that was the problem.. racebred h, your sensor might also be going out? before it went my car ran cool never reached the middle while moving and when in trafic it it will get a bit hotter. then eventually it just stoped. but i had only a day to decide weither its a big job or somthing i could do. and i rather just have them do it.. thanks anyways though guys
All you do is unscrew the old one and screw the new one on.
It will take you, lets see, 1 minute or so to complete the job.
Remember though, if you replace your sensor (for higher or lower temp.) make sure it coensides with your thermostate. If it deosn't it defeats the purpose of the other.
