i recently removed the IACV on my SiR to clean it coz of idling problem then i read somewhere on the web that one must be careful not to lose the o-ring while removing the IACV but when i took it out i didn't have any idea that it has an o-ring. now i'm worried about it but don't where it is located so i like to know where is this o-ring located? is it on the hole with the metal screen or the one without?

If you look just around both of those holes together, you'll notice a shape like 2 "O"s connected. Thats were the o-ring goes. Now go find it.

 

thanks. i don't remember seeing those when i took it out but i didn't really take a close look so i'll check it out when i get home. by the way, will there be any bad effect if, for instance, i lost the o-ring? can it be bought separately from the iacv?
