my car is a 93 DX with a b motor...also...don't DX's have a three wire IACV, and b motors use two wire?

i got the car as a shell with an engine harness wired for b-series....

No,, EG DXs have a two wire IACV. You have the same CEL (14)? if so, check to see if the plug is the right one and the wires are good.
