IACV and IDLE issues. everything possilble CHECKED! - give it your best shot. (video incl)
well.
im having trouble with my code 14, and my idle ONLY at 1,500 rpm's.
the iacv i used is the 2nd iacv i tried. wires are good. connector is good. continuity is good. i even ran a wire from a9 to the iacv itself. nothing helps.
i pull the connecter out, no change in idle.
car starts up fine. drives fine. sounds like it hits a rev limiter at 1,500 at 5% throttle. any more throttle and it works fine.
motor is a jdm b16 - stock p28 ecu - gsr 1996 obd2 wiring harness with obd1 jumper harness.
give it your best shot.
here is a video of the problem im having too.

sir try to reset your comp box, you can reset it by simply disconnecting na negative pole in your battery leave it for 10sec then put it back in, then try to start the car then test it if it works

I would be willing to bet that the STOCK P28 is running too lean and causing the problem. Swap in the correct ECU for that engine or have the P28 chipped and see what it does. It sounds a LOT like the fuel tables are incorrect for the engine.

I am running the p30 ecu on my b16 and am having the same problem so that probably isn't it.
I have also tried a p72 ecu and it was the same.

Its def. your iacv...my friend had the same problem in his b18b ek...it was the wires going into the ecu, he had to switch around. Is this a known working iacv?

Nope, didnt cure it.
Brand new IACV, didnt work, at 1500 it sputters at low throttle.
If i turn the car off and turn it back on, sometimes the code doesnt come back for a good 10-15 minutes, im ******* stumped.
