IAC valve question
i have a bad IAC valve thus a very bumpy idle, but my MAP, injectors, are throwing a code could this be why, because the idle is so screwed up, alos i have a resister box on the injectors but they work so i must have it wired up ok...right?

For the IACV.....just put a piece of aluminum between it and the intake manifold and bolt it back down.
That eliminates that issue.
Edit: I used a piece of a beer can.

Come on spade, dont let this guy do things the wrong way.
Most likely the IAC valve is faulty. They are a common problem on older civics and accords. you might be able to locate a used one at a junkyard pretty cheap.
but the other option that Spade mentioned will work too, but its not the right way.
