i have a 2000 civic ex it didnt come with anything like motor, ecu or engin harness i put in a y8 out of a 1999 automatic a automatic engine harness out of a 99 civic automatic and a ecu out of a four door becasue a ex one wouldnt run it, it runs and drive good but i cant get rid ot the idle air control code it idles at 1500 and surges any help please

 

im pretty sure the ex wiring harness is mean to run with a 2wire IAC where as the y8 and such out of older model civics are meant to run on 3wire IACV. i think phearable.net makes a conversion harness for the IACV, but its also not that hard to wire your self. Just depending on how much work you want to put in

 

would any one happen to have a diagram on how to do it
