Default IAC gone bad?

k here is my problem. I have a Y7 with Y8im, it has been working fine until yesterday. Well actually the car had been sitting on 4 jackstand for the past 2 weeks while I got my wheels re finished. In that time I cleaned the filter on my CAI and I changed the oil Nothing else. I turned the car on yesterday after I got my wheels back and took it around town to run some errands. after I let it sit and idel for about 10 minutes it started idling weird It would go up and down from 1000 to 2000 rpm I didn't think anything of it and I left thinking It will problem fix it self. Later on the CEL came on, I got home and re-set the the ecu and that took care of it temporarily. I then went out again and it later started doing the same. I checked the fault code and it came back 14, it was something to to with the IAC. My question is, do these things normally go bad? I'm going to clean it as it says on the manual but what are my options? Thanks for your time and have a great day.

Take it off and clean the screen, most times it is full with gunky oil. While it is off give it a good shake, does it rattle? If it does the spring valve in there is broke. If you just flushed the coolant, bleed it.
