Hey whats up people,
Heres the details.
Car:93 hatch dx.
Engine: completely stock LS motor that has a fresh rebuild. with a stock P75 ecu
Alot of times after it warms up the car kinda feels like its breaking up. it sputters with an occasional backfire. Also after its fully warmed up and I drive for a while the check engine light will come on. I shoot the code and it fires code 1 every time. (O2 sensor). One other thing that kinda confirms my running lean condition is I pulled the plugs and the plugs look kinda white. (If you guys want a pic let me know) I have a fuel pressure gauge in the car and fuel pressure seems ok. Dont remember the exact number but if you guys want to know that I could let you know. But yeah if you guys can think of any other ways that I can make my car run smoother please let me know.

Thanks man, But I really dont think something is wrong with the O2 sensor because the light only comes on after the car warms up and the lean or maybe rich condition occurs again. By the way I believe its a rich condition thats taking place in the cylinders my reason is this. Car back fire because of excess fuel that hasnt burned in the cylinders but explode later in the exhaust stream.

One other hint to my issue. I was looking at my fuel pressure gauge which is a b&m fuel press thats not a water filled one, anyways, the needle for the gauge used to vibrate when the car ran nicely now the needle does not vibrate. I really think that the problem is problem is fuel related. Someone help please bump
