Default I need your thoughts for the BEST N/A setup for a B18C

I am going to be buying a b18c from a friend that just blew the head. He is gonna sell it to me me for really cheap and since the head was blown, I figured while I got the motor opened up might as well rebuild the whole thing. Now what I want from you guys is to list what you would do to your b18c if you were in my situation. I want every little detail you can think of because I really think I just wanna do it all at once while everything is open, since I know labor is a shitload. So tell me what cams, valvetrain, pistons, rods, throttlebody, clutch, flywheel, everything, and anything you can think of I want to know it. I'm aiming for something in either high 12's or very low 13's in a CX shell with full interior. So let's see what you got. Thanks.

Let me just put down what I was thinking by the way and you guys can tell me if its good and what you think I should change.

Here it is:
Jun Stage III Cams
Jun Valvetrain
Jun Cam gears
JE 11.8:1 Pistons
Crower or Eagle Rods
Spoon or Other 70mm Throttle Body
Clutchmasters Stage 3 Clutch
Toda Flywheel
Skunk2 Intake Manifold
Port and Polished Head
JDM 4-1 or Toda Header (depending on how my pocket is)
JDM ITR 4.7 Final Drive Tranny

Add anything else you guys can think of.

Well tell me now how much you are willing to spend because regardless of the quality of the parts or the vendor you use the price wont be anything lower than $2000. Now here is a list that i would want to use if i were going to set my B18C1 for N/A.
Eagle H-Beam Rods (www.importparts.com $364.99 set of 4)
SRP 11.0:1 Piston Kit (www.nopionline.com $352.94)
Crower 63402 Cams More agressive than CTR but nice idle lobe!(www.nopionline.com $583.33)
Crower 84163 Valve spring/Ti Retainer Kit (i dont feel like writing the prices anymore)
Crower and Ferrea both make good valves so you could use either
Golden Eagle Block
ARP Bolts
AEM Cold Air Intake w/ Air bypass valve
Erick's Racing 70mm Throttle Body Portmatched to
JG Edlebrock Victor X Intake Manifold (i hear you can get it real cheap from Rocket here on this forum look him up!)
Port Flow Design does standard head work for about $1k but i mean **** i would find someone local who could do it for cheaper.

Now everything you had listed is awesome, i just dont know if you know how much money it is, so i just listed some alternatives! Everything else you had listed that i did not replace is because they are what i would use!
Now i know i might have left out a whole bunch of crap! Please anyone reading this reply dont knock me, i am also new and along with Dynamix am going to drop a B18C1 into my future ride (92-00 Civic who knows what bodystyle, hopefully HB) and i am am just trying to spread the limited knowledge i have. I hope i helped you a little Dynamix, try getting some more info from the guys with more experience. Thanks for listening! Hope i helped!

I've seen truly impressive numbers on the Jun stuff...especially the Jun 3 cams, but they're expensive. If you've got an unlimited budget then fine, otherwise I'd look to a more reasonable company for stuff like the flywheel & cam gears. Exedy & skunk2 come immediately to mind. With the money you save there you could drop the JE slugs and go with Endyn rollerwaves. A superior product IMO. Also you will have to adress your injectors, and ECU situation. Perhaps some larger RC engineering squirters and Hondata ECU. Good stuff you got planned there allot of $$$.

You should be able to build a 12 sec EG no problem but with way less stuff.. My friend at groundzeromotorsports.com has a 92VX with a GSR that is bored .50mm over with high compression pistons, portflow head, CTR intake cam, sprockets, RC 310's and a VAFC for fuel. It runs 12.7-12.9's all day long on MT 20x6x14, but now he's got Skumk2 stage 2 cams and M&H 22x9.5x13. The motor we are talking about building above should easily be capable of that with the proper tuning. My other friend just ran yesterday at Woodburn, Oregon in his 96 hatch, it's got a stock GSR with Skunk 2 manifold, CTR intake cam, ACT Maxx Xtreme clutch, 99 Si tranny, intake, and open header... We were really happy when he ran a 13.29@100 that's pretty damn good for being in an EK since my other friends CRVTEC EK runs 12.60's. Check them out at http://www.groundzeromotorsports.com Brian is the one with the red GSR EH2.
