ok... im going from a d16yb trubo to a fully built ls vtec. i have a important question though...

my motor is going to have 13.5 to 1 compression. i know this is to high for 93 octane. so im looking at buying a methanol injection kit would this help my problem by raising the octane some or no?

methanol injection does not raise octane points... it cools the incoming air/fuel mixture in the combustion chamber, which in turn increases the density of the mixture. This reduces peak cylinder temperatures and hot spots, thus reducing the risk of detonation.
