i have a 96 ls integra i changed the clutch like six months ago and its in exedy clutch it said to adjust it before driving but i never needed it b/c many people says it fine as long as it didn't make any noises. well now i have way to much play in the clutch and i hate it and i also notice i smelled clutch every time i drive and i know its not not me b/c it never did that to me before it disengage like half way down which seems a little to high? and you have play all the way up still you let go which really sucks. my question is there any way i can adjust a hydro clutch ?

im pretty sure there is no way to adjust the clutch on your teg.

check your fluid level, sounds like it could be low.

I believe there is a clutch adjustment on your pedal. If you look underneath the dash by the pedal you should see the rod that goes through the firewall. There should be a 10MM nut on an adjuster. Now this is used to fine adjust pedals but if it is in all the way or out then there might be your problem. Most hydraulic systems have this style of adjuster.

i was always under the asumption hondas are auto-adjusting. ive installed many a clutch in hondas and have never had to touch the pedal. my 240 on the other hand is a huge PITA to adjust the clutch on.

Most hydrolic systems have that small adjuster for fine adjustments. It's basically like a tierod end at the pedal before the rod goes through the firewall. If someone has played around with it before the clutch was changed then yes it could be out of adjustment. If it is not that then maybe check your slave and see if the plunger moves all the way out on the fork. If that is ok then you might be into the master. It might have flipped a cup inside.

Good luck with the diag.
