ok, so i FINALLY get to drive my Prelude today, and i go to my friends house and hang out for a few mintues, but when i go to leave, the car won't start. so here the deal
on my fuel pressure guage on the fuel rail, it read zero
i can't tell if the fuel pump is running
AND
i have a CEL, and it won't show a code, PLUS, i left my Helms at the shop that was doing some of the work.

so, does anyone have any ideas? i have a walbro 255gph fuel pump that is not yet installed, so i am going to put it in tomorrow and see if it solves the problem, but if anyone has any ideas PLEASE PLEASE let me know

 

is there a fuse or relay for the fuel pump? check the ECU fuse?

check those first.........also before you go swapping fuel pumps check for power at the fuel pump connector on the top of the sending unit. you will have to remove the back seat to gain access to it anyway....

 

yeah, i checked all the fuses, and the backseat wa out, that was how i was able to tell that the pump wasn't running

if you really want to make sure... pull off the fuel line at the fuel filter and see if fuel poors out when you set the ignition to on.

 

the fuel pump doesn't run, i put a new walbro 255gph pump in today, it an electrical relay somewhere, but i don't know where

 

I'm not sure if your car has it but on my crx the main relay controls the fuel pump. Located under the driver dash way on the left side. If you cant hear it click or make a spring sound then the relay isnt working.

 

ok, well, i replaced the relay, the CEL went off, but the car still won't start, my friends at Honda thinks there could be a problem with the immobilizer system, or even the ignition switch (since the 5th gens had a recall on the ignition switch).

fuel pump is new, walbro 255 gph
fuel pump fuses are good
main relay has been replaced
CEL has gone off
still no fuel pressure
