Did you check your Vavles to see if they are Burnt and not seating right. That would be one of the next things to check.

the valves are really clean! The car has almost 40,000 on it and about 2000 of it has been with nitrous! Everything is clean!! Looks brand new you can still see where they honned (sp?) the cylinder wall. There are no visiable signs of where!!

Did you pull a piston? Sometimes there will be a hole burnt in the side of the piston by the ring land that is not visible from the top.

When you do the leak down test it should tell you the same as the Compression test but will give you a better understanding of where the problem lies (i.e. Rings, Head Gasket, etc.)

Let us know the results of the leak down.

Dont you think a leak down first would have been better than removing the head first.

Yeah, the leak down would have given you a better place to start at what is really wrong with the 2 cylinder.
