Default I need help

I was driving down the road last Saturday night and my car bogged out the cut off. After getting the car home the next day I started looking for what the problem was and this is what I found.

I've had a couple of people tell me that there's a chance my head could be blown. What are the chances that this is the case?

I can't really tell what I'm supposed to see that little white looking speck? Better pics are a must, as well as a better description of the symptoms you are experiencing. I'm gathering that your car cut out and now won't start? Was this after normal driving, an over-rev? Details. Then what have you checked? Are you getting good compression numbers, spark to all cylinder, fuel?

Not the white spec. Look to the right of it and the break in the cam. The intake cam is broken in half. It was after normal driving. I'm wanting to know what the chances are that the whole head is blown. It was a Crower stage 2 cam. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, couldn't tell from the pic the cam was broken. Well your head is going to be a mess, bottom end will need at the very least a rebuild given you didn't crack a sleeve or scar one up what boring .5 over. Pull the head and evaluate the damage. Sucks, I've heard/seen so many broken crower stories, but I ran a set of 63402s for over two years without any issues. Here's a link to one:

Best of luck

Likely they won't give you anything more than a free set of cams if anything at all. like you're really excited to run another set after the last ones broke and cost you an engine.
