Default i just started out on imports!!!!!

i want to learn alot about imports and everything that has to do with them. i have looked into some books and such, is there any that you would reccomend, or that you had not to get. thanks

well that depends on what you want to know and about what car. just stick around here and read some mags. But don't belive everything you read. especially from the mags. go to the library if you really want to read. I found its easyier if you actually have a car. so get a civc, teg or rex and just start from there

The best way to learn is to actually do. Meaning, if you have access to a Honda and tinker with it, you'll learn more from that than ever cracking a book and just reading about it. Of course, a knowledgable friend works wonders too.

true, very true. get any honda that is your taste, and stick around, then time will rub itself into your head. pretty soon you'll car your car by the chassis codes and realize you are talking a whole different language and before you know it, you'll be married to your car

If there's a Honda tuner/installer nearby that you are cool with, hang out there. Most mechanics love talking about what they know.
