I cant drive go past 3200 rpm's. I thought it had to somehting with timing. It happens in different grears, but never 1st. Mainly 3rd.

It shouldn't work once your moving.You may have reset your rev limiter but most likely you disconnected the cable from the ecu to the blue box.I'm assuming Hondata.Is the red led in the box blinking?

nope. no lights

 

if u cant burn ur own chips, then have some one that can make u one.

If its not the distro, then its most likely the chip.

 

Could it possibly be the sparkplugs? when I took the head off, and put the valve springs in..i left the sparkplugs in. Its getting spark. I kow this for sure

 

vss sensor?

the cable kinda goes up and down. some play in it.. maybe the wire behinda the guage cluster?

 

launch control in crome works off the vss....since your cable driven i would check the wiring coming off the back of the gauge cluster

 

Its a blue wire...correct?

 

no blue wire is tach. just snug up the screws that are on the back of the cluster right behind the speedo and that should fix it. Had a similar problem in my CRX but i just didn't get Vtec

 

not trying to jack the thread but I have the same problem with my 94 ls-t. Was running fine for two weeks now it sputters (sounds like a silenced machine gun) when I accelerate. But I'm tuned with Uberdata. Could I have the same problem?

your car has an electric speedo so as long as your gauge woks that's not the problem. I don't knwow hat the weather has been like down there but if it got warmer or anything like that right before the problem came up i'd start lookin at your tune.
