Default I Have a Question

What is the stock cylinder bore for a B16A2 and the stock cylinder bore for a B20.

i am contemplating putting a builty B20 block into my 99 Si and i would like to know what the bore for both of the motors are so i can see if it is logical for buying the B20 or to just bore out my B16.

thanks
Ronnie

B16 roughly 80mm, B20 roughly 84mm, bore the B16, or destroke the B20 to the B16 stoke length. keeping that nice R/S ration is good

Stock bore on B16 and B18 engines are 81mm, with a factory specified maximum overbore of .25mm over.

If you want to bore the B16 out more, you'll have to resleeve the block.

Oh i know what i have to do if i bore out the b16a i was just wondering what the stock bore is because i have a b20 i can get my hands on for about 800 bucks i micced the block and it is almost new motor the bore on the block was 83.84 and stock being 83.7 or so i forgot i just didn't know the stock bore for a b16a.

just going through all of the options i and am going to pick what i believe is best.
I am going to talk with Inline Pro also about they have had some fast ******* cars with b20 in the civics. One that i know of it is a b20 dropped into a civic with Toda cams and a jun valvesprings (i believe) and a revamped computer and it pushed 205+ to the wheels.

thanks
