Default I have a problem

I JUST PUT A SWAP IN MY CAR BUT WHEN I TAKE MY RPM TO HIGH THE TEMP GAUGE GOES UP LIKE AN RPM GAUGE I HAVE NO IDEA WHATS CAUSING THIS PROBLEM CAN SOMEONE HELP.. PLEASE

hugh???? elaborate better, it goes up and down with the rpm gauge? or it just gets hotter when at high rpm?

you might have a loose ground somewhere in your engine bay.

I had a similar problem but mine had to do with the RPM skyrocketing to 10,000 RPM.....

i checked for ground no loose ground, i nned a tps sensor but i doubt its cause of that, any ideas...

what engine did you swap in? what car did it go in? what ecu? did you swap the cluster gauge? be more specific newb..................

i blew the motor on my gsr so i put another gsr, rpm goes crazy after 7000 rpm and the car still heats up, i took off my thermostat, still heats up, i double check the wiring to make sure everthing is plugged in right, still heats up, and rpm goes crazy still , everthing is the same as when i had the other motor. only different new motor.

well it could be the temperature sensor...

but I'd be damn sure you're not actually overheating first...
