Default HYDRAULIC CLUTCH BLEEDING????????????

i cant get my clutch too work on my type r tranny. I tried bleeding it but i cant. i pump the pedal continously for a ong time and nothing happens??????? does anybody know the best way to do this?????? thanks

use MEW fluid from sealed bottle i had same issue ended being crappy fluid....

Put a hose on the bleeder nipple and put it into a bottle (I used an Aquafina bottle because I like their water...and it was empty and dry) and pour some clean fluid into it so the hose is submerged. Crack open the bleeder nipple and SLOWLY start pumping the pedal. At this time, make sure the resovoir is full...and continues to be full while doing this. You are not pumping the pedal to build pressure and then cracking open the bleeder nipple like you would with brakes...just keep it open, pump, check resovoir and look for clean fluid coming out of the bleed hose and stop when it is.

wouldnt leaving it open allow air back inside? correct me if im wrong. i usualy pump, hold it down,open vavle and close quickl and repeat.

maybe the slave cylinder thats what happened to me when I couldnt get mine to bleed and then I relized it had to be that. you could give that a shot.

You would...if you didn't put the hose into the already-filled bottle of fluid.

EDIT: This is why people need a Helms manual - this info ^ is right there in it.
