OK im convertng my HX engin to a EX...They're generally the same engine im just trying to figure out what i'll need to change.
Off the top of my head i can think of:

-EX head (unless they're the same size then can i just swap the internals?)
-Swap a P2P ECU instead of my P2N

Will i need a new wiring harness with the new ECU?
Also someone said the HX has longer gears and that i would need a new tranny. But i naturally assumed the ECU would deal with that problem and a new tranny wouldn't be necessary.

If any of you can figure out anything else i might need (maybe a new fuel rail? [mine's extremely small])..i mean i am all ears here. Help me out

 

the tranny has physically longer gearing, ecu wont correct that.
o2 sensors are different.

It is so much easier to just swap a EX tranny on there and leave the engine alone.
