Default Hub bearings or not?

Me and a friend seem to think but I would just like a second opinion.
Steering wheel shakes roughly at speed when brakes applied.
Clunking noise when off trottle at about 85-70 mph....not all the time just everynow and then.
Ugly clank when going over speed bumps without brake applied.
Rotors are not warpped.

Hub bearings?

No idea how to check honestly....attempt to wabble wheel? If wheel wabbles = wheel bearings?

Get the tire off the ground and try to move the wheel from 12 and 6 positions.
if there is play then the bearing is going out.

Not crush nuts (ouch!) but you stake them.

Also check your sway bar end linksand your radius rod bushings. Are your rear brake drums out of round?
