HP numbers of stock b20vtec?
y do people **** with stock b20 vtec's....a lot of them go throw some huge cams in..or advance and retard timingon the cams..not even taking into account the need for bigger valve reliefs on those pistons. if u gonna make a non vtec perform like a vtec block should..do it right.

I have all stock JDM b20b w/ b17 head. Now...what would be the guess?

man, if it is stock - you shouldnt have to shave the pistons...
(i will be claying mine soon to prove this, but i am not concerned...)
anyways, the answer could be "about 150whp" give or take 10whp.

don't clay your pistons.
It's already been done by http://www.crvtec.com. Using ITR cams, it'll start hitting the pistons at 4 degrees advanced.

I don't think so....
I just checked the Edmunds.com. 2001 model comes with 146hp B20z 2.0L engine while the 2002 model comes with K24 2.4L engine. I don't think there are such things as stock b20 vtec.
When I say stock, I mean stock internals and what not, not counting the bolt-ons.

I'd still clay your piston clearances. All that work just to skip a simple step.....not a good idea to me. I check EVERYTHING...twice...and an extra third time.
and "stock B20 Vtec" that was the funniest thing I have heard today
I needed a laugh, Thanks.
Eddoes, Yes the K24 2.4 l engine is a VTEC engine from the factory.

Anyone know what the HP and Torque figures are on the K24 engine?
Anyone try building a Hybrid with that yet?
I would imagine u could build a monster with that. Is the block a lot heavier/bigger than the B20B?

I had a "stock" crvtec in my hatch. The pistons were shaved and that was it. I dont have hp figures but it ran 13.3@102.4. I also daily drove it for about 6 months but now i have bigger plans so I sold the block.
