i havent done it myself but i suggested a friend of mine to wd40 and your nail. im not 100% if it would work. but wd40 seems to get most of that kind of sticky stuff off

Yep, WD40 and fingernail work well and won't damage paint. Take it slow. Make sure to wash with soap and water when done.
