Default how to remove O2 sensor with shitty tools?

i tried so ******* hard. its so seized. i need to remove it to install a new one.

what is the easiest way with shitty tools?

i sprayed the **** down the liquid wrench, and tried so hard. the car was practicly lifting when i was trying to remove it. plus i only have standard box wrenches in that size, and they dont fit too well because the 02 sensor is wedged in there in an awkward way...

all i really need is the wire part, but i cannot seem to remove it in its current state..
gimme help

can you double wrench the box wrenches? I mean is it stripped that you can not grip the nut?

i was able to get lots of grip, the box wrench fit pretty nice.

An off-brand O2 sensor socket is cheap at Pep Boys or AutoZone. Not the best quality, but works better than open end wrenches.

A hot wrench (torch) will help if you have access to one.

Not sure how you can deal with the wires, but "Bolt-Out" rounded bolt remover socket set from Sears will probably get it out. Some people call them "wheel lock removers" but they're for rounded and damaged nuts.

But if the O2 sensor flange is rounded, I'd take a file and straigthen the nut corners again. And then use an oxygen sensor removal socket and a big breaker bar to loosen it. Also, spray liberal amounts of Liquid Wrench while tapping it. The tapping helps to get Liquid Wrench flow to the threads better. Another extreme method is to get an ice bag and cool just the O2 sensor while the header is still hot. That way, you can get the thermal properties of the two objects, O2 sensor and header, different and possibly open a gap or make it easier to twist the O2 sensor out. I don't know, just suggestions. See if they work!

In the past if the I've had to work with an oxygen sensor that was either stripped really bad or just screwed I normally just heat the bung up with a torch then use a pipe wrench... Stripped or not I've always been able to get them out... If it's that bad you're going to have to buy a new sensor anyway... Good Luck

the wires from the harness to the sensor dont solder at all last i remember(the ones from the harness to teh ecu ect. do though), so you will have to use butt connectors but i dont recommend... that is if your doing what i think

You can heat up the header around the o2 sensor with a torch to get the metal to expand and it will be easier to break it lose. I've done it twice once on a stock header and it came out no problem but when I did it on a cermatic coated header, the header got to hot and melted the treads but the o2 sensor was still good.
