How to read a Fuel/spark map??????
I recently got my Zdyne, loaded up the software, uploaded a stock program onto it and........ what the FAUK do all these #'s mean. Obviously the vertical column is RPM's but what does the horizontal column mean. Gimme some help here. Thanks
Ok so know that we have that first part settled, then what do the #'s specify on each one. I'm guessing the fuel map one is volume, but in what measuement is it in. And in the spark map, what do those #'s represent. Thanks again
On the Fuel Chart, the #s represent "injector pulse", in Milliseconds.
On the Timing Chart, the #s represent "Ignition Timing", in degrees, before top dead Center. (BTDC)
Is that what you wanted to know, or are you trying to figure out what the vacuum #s mean?

Actually that first part answers it perfectly, it's starting to click in my little brain now. What i'm still wondering is what #inHcr stands for (# being any given numberin the maps) then it goes to lb which is obviously pounds. But how to you tell if it's vacuum or pressure. Or in the case of a NA engine is it all vacuum. My engine is gonna be turbo'd so how do i interpret these #'s in that application. Sorry i ask so many questions, but i like to thoroughly understand concepts i have lacking knowledge in. Thanks

Actually i don't have my guages yet, hell i don't even have my block back yet. But actually on your gauge it says Hg not Hcr, i'm guessing it represents that same thing, but what does it stand for?
That DOES SAY HG, not Hcr.
There are many ways to measure vacuum, and many different dial scales for any said gauge.
HG is one of the most common.
HG = "inches of mercury"
