How much effect do suspension mods have?
I was wondering if, with all the mods you could do to an Integra, if it would ever reach the level of quality of a car that was a handling monster from the factory, like a BMW 3-series or a Mazda Miata? Take a look at all the stuff I have in my signature. Do you think my car is still poorer, is on par with, or is better than a stock BMW 318i or 328i?

get a rear sway bar and then well talk....
by the way your comparing to rwd cars that drive totally different.. go to a scca meet or sumthin and see how you do against drivers with 3 series bmw's and miatas

My JDM ITR Rear Sway Bar is going on today! And I'm just asking if all this stuff really changes it all that much or if a better car is always going to be better?

I believe with a weight advantage over those cars you mention, an Integra with fantastic suspension that is well tuned, along with being on a small diet... the Integra is fair game. This has bene proven during the Speedvision Touring Car series and British Touring Car series....
What you run into then is a car that is still a FWD car but incredibly capable.
Some tracks and races favor FWD, some favor RWD.
Thats life.
I have been very satisfied with the cars I have beat in autocross, and the cars I have passed during trackschools... but those track experiences were not competitive, but people do push the limits a bit.
I think the DC/EG/EK platform is incredibly agile and feedback is fantastic... when mated to a superb aftermarket suspension, the cars are fun to drive and handle amazingly.
