Default how much compresion is to much for boost

I have a mild ls setup eagle rods,ross(11.5-1) pistons,the run of the mill head job nothing special my ? is has anybody ever boosted such a high comp setup before
or would the cyl pressure be too much???

you would need race gas, **** race gas, you would need jet fuel and a SUPER TUNED fuel map

I think a few pounds, between 5-7 of boost would respond awsome. you could even use a healthy size turbo and not worry about lag since all that compession would help out on the low end and boost on the high end. But like others suggested, tune that fuel. Also a btm would help with the timing issue.

many of the honda drag race engines are using higher compression ..BUT race fuel ..really good tuning is what makes it possible to be stable.to run high boost...ive seen a few turbo rsxs and there stock comp is 11.1 i beleive, but they have to boost like 3-5psi and still require great tuning with pump gas..if u want to keep your setup. i suggest an inline pro thick turbo head gasket...

what about superchargers + high comp engines? would that work? since most superchargers arent pushed past 7-8 psi?
