Bolted to brackets that are welded to your rollcage. BUT since I doubt you have a cage I would go through the floor with reinforcement plates and aircraft grade hardware.

i bolted mine to the sliders in my rex, so i could adjust it back and forth, it's much easier to get in and out of the car that way

You must be 5' tall if you bolted it to the sliders.

Your best bet will probably be to bolt it to the floor--not sure what drew was talking about bolting it to brackets to the cage.

Use grade 5 or better bolts (aircraft quality/grade? that is sort of a misnomer), although I'm sure grade 2 would be fine, is rated to thousands of pounds, depending on size. Grade 8 if you want something that is really, really tough. The key though is you need to reinforce the underside, use big washers or better yet a strip of flat iron, so that if the floor rips, it will have to rip the entire length of the strip rather then just a washer or bolt-head.

if you wanted to spend the money to make this undoable get a sparco bracket or one similr for your car and bolt to that it will use your stock mounting locations

i'm 6'1 and i have no problems what so ever... i just put the seat lower down in the bracket (where it bolts into the side of the seat). It's only 2 inches or so higher than stock maybe.

the little crx has alot of room surprisingly

We've had to bolt the seat in the CRX striaght to the floor in order to get the helmet clearance... The three of us that drive it are 6'1"-6'2". I'm surprised you have the clearance with a helmet.

Do you have a cage installed?

you are absolutely right. Clearance with a helmet is a bitch (have to bend a bit), i was thinking for daily street use, my bad

so ya, if you're running at the track all the time, i would bolt it to the floor then

The Momo seat alone will kill your wallet, unless you're getting an inexpensive Momo Fixed back. Either way Momo seats will only use their brackets. You have to buy the sliders, adapters and bracket.
